Communities of Practice Sessions at Annual Conference
Join us for two sessions at Annual Conference as we unveil the Transitional Leadership Forum's (TLF) recommendations for Communities of Practice. The Annual Meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 22 where we will present and discuss the TLF report.
Notes on the Transitional Leadership Forum
The Transitional Leadership Forum met from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on April 22, 2008, at the Ann Arbor District Library. Our agenda was quite ambitious and included announcements about the chairs of the Committees, a review and discussion of the Workgroups for 2009 and the Call for Volunteers for the workgroups and the Committees, a work session on the Communities of Practice and then a review and discussion of the Communication Plan.
Restated Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation
MLA will hold a meeting of the members January 25, 2008 to vote on restated Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation. Members will receive a proxy ballot and FAQ describing the voting process and restructuring issues in early January. Members are invited to vote by mail or in person at the meeting of the members. The restated Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation are attached for your review along with the FAQ.
